All are welcome – join us! | view St. John’s full calendar here
St. John’s is located at the corner of Old York Road (Route 611) and Melrose Avenue. Parking is available in the gravel parking lot on Stratford Avenue, in the handicapped-accessible parking lot on Melrose Avenue, and along Melrose Avenue itself. The church building is wheelchair-accessible from the Melrose Avenue lot.
People of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome in worship! We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
Our next Handcraft Night will be Tuesday, September 4 at 6:30 pm. Bring your knitting, spinning, sewing, crocheting, weaving… and enjoy fellowship while working together. Handcraft Night is a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to draw on each other’s wisdom to solve problems in projects or to learn new skills, like mending tears and replacing buttons. Kids, neighbors, and friends are welcome!
Join us at St. John’s on September 16 at 10:00 am for Welcome Sunday. The Chancel Choir will return and our weekly Learning Hour will resume. If you are new to the neighborhood, new to church, or have been away for a while, this is a great Sunday to visit us. People of all ages and abilities are welcome!
Is your congregation, mission start, or nonprofit in need of space to worship and work? Are you looking for a venue for your wedding reception, baby shower, or retirement party? Long-term and one-time space-sharing agreements are available at St. John’s for affordable donations. Contact our office to learn more.
