St. John’s is located at the corner of Old York Road (Route 611) and Melrose Avenue. Parking is available in the gravel parking lot on Stratford Avenue, in the handicapped-accessible parking lot on Melrose Avenue, and along Melrose Avenue itself. The church building is wheelchair-accessible from the Melrose Avenue lot.

People of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome in worship! We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Longest Night Service: December 11, 7:00 pm

If you have lost a loved one, you are invited to join us for a contemplative service of reflection in preparation for the holiday season. We will light candles, remember our loved ones, pray together, sing peaceful hymns, and hear words of comfort from scripture. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Hanging of the Greens: Sunday, December 16

Come enjoy one of St. John’s most fun services of the year on December 16! During the service, we will decorate the sanctuary for Christmas together. All ages and abilities are invited to join us for the fun and festivities!

Christmas Eve Services

This year, we have two services on Christmas Eve. Come at 10:00 for a fun service for families and all ages. Our traditional candlelight service is at 7:30 (special music begins at 7:00). Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been to church before or not!
