St. John’s is located at the corner of Old York Road (Route 611) and Melrose Avenue. Parking is available in the gravel parking lot on Stratford Avenue, in the handicapped-accessible parking lot on Melrose Avenue, and along Melrose Avenue itself. The church building is wheelchair-accessible from the Melrose Avenue lot.
People of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome in worship! We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
It’s our annual St. John’s tradition: the Hanging of the Greens! Join us for worship on December 1 at 10:00 am to sing, pray, and help decorate the sanctuary for Advent and Christmas. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Join us for our annual Candlelight Christmas Eve service on December 24 at 7:30 pm. We will sing favorite hymns, hear the story of Jesus’ birth, and enjoy the beauty of candlelight in the darkness. Come early to hear beautiful, contemplative music for the season. Everyone is welcome.
Is your congregation, mission start, or nonprofit in need of space to worship and work? Are you looking for a venue for your wedding reception, baby shower, or retirement party? Long-term and one-time space-sharing agreements are available at St. John’s for affordable donations. Contact our office to learn more.
