All are welcome – join us! | view St. John’s full calendar here
St. John’s is located at the corner of Old York Road (Route 611) and Melrose Avenue. Parking is available in the gravel parking lot on Stratford Avenue, in the handicapped-accessible parking lot on Melrose Avenue, and along Melrose Avenue itself. The church building is wheelchair-accessible from the Melrose Avenue lot.
People of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome in worship! We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
What does God consider precious? Where does God invest energy and commitment? Does money matter? How does God invite us to treat the world around us, one another, and ourselves? Join us on Sundays at 10:00 am for worship to explore these questions and more.
Join us in High School Park at the corner of Montgomery Avenue and High School Road on Sunday, October 6 for our annual Blessing of the Animals! Drop by anytime between 2:00 and 4:00 pm with your pet, a photo of your pet, or even a stuffed animal for a special blessing. All species are welcome!
Join us for the opening reception of our latest Creative Arts Series art show, a solo show by Anthe Capitan-Valais, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Hagan Room on September 22. Refreshments will be served. The reception is free and open to all; we suggest a $5 donation to help offset costs.
Is your congregation, mission start, or nonprofit in need of space to worship and work? Are you looking for a venue for your wedding reception, baby shower, or retirement party? Long-term and one-time space-sharing agreements are available at St. John’s for affordable donations. Contact our office to learn more.
